Job Title: Director of Technology
Location: REMOTE - BUT- near a major airport hub (heavy travel)
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy professional to join our rapidly growing company as the IT Director. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT systems and processes, manage relationships with external third-party IT service providers, and drive IT strategy to support our growth trajectory. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is comfortable working in a department of one and liaising with various internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day-to-Day IT Operations: Oversee the daily operations of all IT systems and processes, ensuring
they are efficient and effective.
• IT Equipment Management: Track all IT equipment, including deployment dates and estimated
obsolescence. Proactively plan and execute replacements and upgrades to ensure minimal
downtime.
• Collaboration with HR and M&A Functions: Work closely with HR and M&A teams to manage the
addition and deletion of equipment and licenses based on business needs.
• M&A IT Evaluation and Execution: Evaluate the IT infrastructure (policies, equipment, etc.) of M&A targets, determine expenditure needs, and execute post-acquisition integration.
• IT Support Management: Resolve a defined set of IT support needs in collaboration with a thirdparty IT service provider.
• Third-Party Provider Management: Manage the relationship with the third-party IT service provider, ensuring service levels are met and optimized.
• Equipment Purchasing and Synergies: Oversee the equipment purchasing process, looking for
synergies to maintain launch-ready availability and facilitate seamless operations and acquisitions.
• IT Strategy and Policy Development: Develop IT strategies and policies that support the company's
growth in terms of structure, geography, headcount, and software upgrades.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in managing IT operations and strategy within a growing organization.
• Hands-on experience with resolving IT support needs and managing IT requests.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement IT policies and strategies.
• High energy, self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interfacing with various stakeholders.

Note: We are open to considering candidates with varying levels of experience. The title may flex to Manager of IT for highly capable candidates who demonstrate the potential to grow within the role.
