As Program Manager (PM), Value Added/Value Engineering you will be responsible for planning and executing projects that move the organization forward in a new and improved way. A key focus will be to collaborate with the category managers and suppliers to scope out projects for achieving the annual financial goals and working cross-functionally to plan out necessary steps to implement the projects on time. Projects will begin with pre-charter activity, where high-level concepts are reviewed (timing, cost targets, budgets) and plans are developed to support project launch and follow-through. The PM is responsible for working with the category managers, product teams and other functional areas to drive execution of the projects, as well as be ensuring the procurement tasks within the projects, are completed, as necessary. This role will drive both efficient and effective alignment with our business strategies of profitable / sustainable growth and efficient operations, as well as our product / project roadmaps.
This role is subject to our hybrid work model: we collaborate in the office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday, you have flexibility to work wherever it suits you best.
What You’ll Do
- Align purchasing goals with business objectives, identify opportunities for savings and value creation, and mitigate risks and challenges.
- Oversee and drive event-based ideation sessions and supplier workshops to create a strong pipeline of ideas for savings.
- Liaise with category managers and other functions to ensure projects are being funneled, prioritized, tracked, and communicated.
- Align and coordinate new sourcing opportunities with category managers, along with the PMO and continuous improvement teams, to ensure best-fit suppliers meet program objectives.
- Represent the strategic sourcing & supplier management team through participation in regular program and/or project meetings.
- Implement strategic sourcing principles across the team for new product and component situations.
- Implement procurement best practices, design and institutionalize new tools to drive strategic value to the organization.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports.
- Work within a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment to drive exciting new product development, innovation, and continuous improvements projects.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant combined experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing and/or program management disciplines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline supported by experience that demonstrates fit within the role.
- Project Management certification a plus
- Master’s degree preferred
