Senior Engineering Project Manager for Leading Food Production Company

Summary:
A global leader in Food Production Company is looking to bring on a Senior Engineering Project Manager to confront challenges and take initiative to increase quality and productivity. Planning and development will be key duties in this role while working on capital expenditure and continuous improvement projects. Minor travel to other plants occasionally will also be expected.
The ideal Senior Engineering Project Manager will have the following requirements and skill sets:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related stem fields
- At least 4 years of project management experience
- Well-versed in USDA, FDA, and other regulations
- Experience in food and beverage or other related industries
The Senior Engineering Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Plan and develop initiatives to increase automation, utilization and efficiency
- Actively collaborate with other Plant Managers and departments to meet plant and project needs
- Create and execute projects with capital budgets to meet and exceed goals
- Ensure department and project compliance to regulations, schedules and company standards
- Support and participate in plant management and initiatives where needed
- Maintain a professional demeanor while communicating, organizing, and carrying out administrative duties
