Job Description:
Bloom Talent Solutions has partnered with a full-service Residential & Commercial Landscape company in Bryan-College Station, TX, to recruit and hire a Director of Operations for their Landscape Maintenance team. Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the COO, the Director of Operations will be responsible for staffing and training the workforce, overseeing maintenance productions, and developing SOPs to facilitate company growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong logical thinking, resourcefulness, decision-making skills that align with company values, and a positive attitude toward challenges. Please note that this position will not have any finance-related responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $90k - $110k+ per year, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:
Staffing and Training:
- Recruit, staff, and train the workforce
- Develop and implement a Field Training program; measure and monitor results
- Create a Leadership/Level-Up training program; measure & monitor results
- Develop a hiring/staffing budget in collaboration with the President
Operations Management:
- Oversee maintenance productions, ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded
- Coordinate field staff, trucks, equipment, and materials
- Forecast schedules and standardize the Safety program
- Develop and implement an inventory & consumables management system
- Drive continual improvement in operations
Project and Client Management:
- Oversee project management & maintenance productions
- Manage change-orders/add-ons and ensure proper billing
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and service
- Implement a Quality Assurance program and measure its results
Communication and SOP Development:
- Strengthen communication channels within the team and client base
- Implement a routine meeting structure to facilitate open communication
- Utilize client feedback to enhance service quality
- Create or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support rapid company growth
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED with ten years’ work experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience
- 5+ years of experience in the landscape industry
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel
- Current driver’s license and an insurable driving record
