Job: Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Salary: $125,000 - 150,000
Bonus: 20% Bonus paid Quarterly
On-Site Position
*This role will have oversight of Process Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering in the holding plant. There are 7 process engineer and 7 manufacturing engineers when fully staffed. They will have 2 Direct Reports (Process Engineer Lead and a Manufacturing Engineer lead with dotted line oversight of the rest of the group)
Key Notes:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Master is Preferred
- 5+ Years of Engineering Management. Must have Experience Managing Engineers. (Will have 2 Direct Reports and 12 dotted line reports - Half the team are Process Engineers/ Half are Manufacturing Engineers. The Direct reports are Leads )
- Molding Experience – APG preferred, but injection or other types of molding acceptable (Preferred)
- This position is responsible for all EPOX Engineering and Technology for Molding Manufacturing Processes. This position will be responsible for managing and leading the Engineering and Technical Innovation team for our Molding Manufacturing Processes. This position will be crucial in driving the continuous improvement activities in driving the world-class operations excellence.
- Understands P&L at a departmental level
- *They are open to this Manufacturing Engineering Manager coming out of any type of industrial manufacturing environment as long as they hit the requirements. This is a role that is very plant focused and will be on the shop floor leading and managing their teams
- This Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be leading in their plant.
- They are doing overmolding and thermoset epoxy work onto electrical vacuum bottles (Plastics knowledge is a plus and an ideal candidate. Coming from Med Device plastics company or other industries would be a good fit)
- The Process Engineer team will be doing process optimization for molding line - spec out new equipment, work with suppliers/vendors. They will be mostly focused on quality improvements and yield improvements.
- The Manufacturing Engineer team does a lot of fixture work, determine manufacturability while working with the new product development team, etc.
