Job Description
A client in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Manager/Cloud Architect to join their team. This individual will play a critical role in implementing and managing the infrastructure for our client’s new data platform. This platform will support data processing, analytics, and reporting, and will be hosted on either Snowflake or Fabric (depending on the client’s final decision). The manager will lead a team responsible for provisioning resources, ensuring network connectivity, and maintaining security. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and strong collaboration with other teams.
Responsibilities shown below:
• Lead the implementation and management of the data platform infrastructure.
• Provision and configure resources (compute, storage, and networking) on the chosen platform (Snowflake or Fabric).
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, data operations, and business intelligence (BI) teams to create and manage storage accounts.
• Ensure secure network connectivity for data flows and access
• Act as a hands-on manager, actively participating in technical tasks and troubleshooting.
• Manage a team of two infrastructure specialists.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
