Summary
Our client is seeking skilled Mid-Senior level Embedded System Engineers. In this role, you will design and develop active RF systems for their cutting-edge products. Within the first year, you will be expected to develop software, firmware, and hardware within small, multidisciplinary teams. This will require you to strive for a system-level understanding of all design tasks eventually elevating to contributions of system architecture and internal tooling. You will also be expected to learn and develop new skillsets with guidance from mentors and peers.
Required Education and Experience
- Must have US citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s degree preferred) or equivalent
- Experience designing and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits
- Experience with schematic capture, and PCB layout and assembly
- Proficiency with common test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
- Proficiency in a technical programming language such as Python
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience architecting, developing and deploying embedded firmware within a RTOS
- FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or functional equivalent
- Altium, or LTSpice
- Experience with RF test equipment including phase noise analyzer, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, and power meters
