Job Description
We are seeking a GIS Utilities Team Lead to join one of our growing clients in Delaware. They are currently undergoing a utility network conversion from a Geometric Network with the next iteration being the Utility Network. The Team Lead will work closely with vendors to execute a pilot area, starting with the sewer network, and then moving into electric, fiber, etc. This resource will need to train users on the new system, communicate what the new functionality is, and how to use it. It is essential that this resource has a strong understanding of the Utilities space. This resource will manage the projects from the initial feasibility study through the implementation. From a QA perspective, they will need to validate, verify, and sign off on what the team needs. Strong communication skills are essential, as this resource will be working with vendors, the internal team, and the user base. This resource will be required to start 5x a week in the office, but over time after learning the environment a hybrid model can be established.
