Responsibilities:
- This role is for a candidate who will support novel wearables development via CAD design.
- Able to produce PCB mechanical models for wearable systems CAD(s) using altium and other CAD software.
- Candidates will be expected to work across a multidisciplinary team, be hands-on in the lab testing and characterizing system-on-substrate, and own any corresponding workflows and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, or similar
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in PCB / Substrate Design.
- Ability to analyze and effectively communicate complex issues to multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks, NX, or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- M.S. with 5+ years experience in PCB or Substrate Design
- Experience with mechanical modeling of soft material systems (polymers, textiles, foams, etc.)
- Familiarity with Lithographic processes
