Summary:
The Network Engineer is responsible for leading the deployment of LAN infrastructure, ensuring stable and reliable network solutions for Campus, Data Centers, and remote sites. The role involves planning, configuring, and documenting network solutions in support of new and existing cloud architectures. The engineer will optimize network performance, support Cisco-centric WAN, LAN, and WLAN environments, and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions in complex environments.
- Optimize network performance and ensure high availability.
- Support and maintain Cisco WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
- Manage deployment, upgrades, and site installations.
- Serve as a point of escalation for operational issues.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of network engineering experience, preferably in professional IT services
- 3+ years of experience in cloud networking technologies and solutions.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, Perl, Terraform).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher.
- Strong understanding of IP addressing, LAN switching technologies, and protocols.
