Position Description:
Experience 10+ years, managing Information Technology projects, specifically with a customer experience and engagement focus. Systems include IT, Communications, Physical Security, Audio-Visual, and Structured Cabling. Project types will vary from stakeholder engagement to management of new solution implementation. The position includes managing design teams, stakeholder relationships, overseeing development and preparation of drawings and specifications as well as management and oversight of software implementation, testing, training, and project close out.
This position will require full-time in-person work at Orlando International Airport. The position will have a space assigned within the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) offices. Senior IT PM will serve as a connection between GOAA IT and Customer Service, managing all IT projects which are to be championed by the Customer Experience (CX) team.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technology related projects. This includes consulting, implementation, vendor management, cost and schedule alignment.
- Leverage technical expertise in IT, including PMO experience, to personally develop technical and business-related content for reports, analysis, planning and general project execution.
- Stay current through self-study and personal initiative on technology topics related to your expertise, including CRM, Digital Engagement, Mobile, and Web Technologies.
- Developing project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, and ensuring that the project objectives are clearly defined and aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Create and update scopes of work, requests for proposals, request for bids, technical guides, capital funding requests, system documentation, and other technical documents as assigned. Assist IT management in aligning project sequencing and budgets.
- Identifying potential project risks and developing risk mitigation plans to minimize the impact of these risks on the project's timeline, budget, and scope.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle. This includes being the lead for IT for all Customer Experience related initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage technology vendors supporting GOAA CX projects.
- Work closely with IT professionals, vendors, software developers, system administrators, and other subject matter experts to gather technical information.
- Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Ensuring that the projects and technical documents meet all relevant quality standards and that all deliverables meet the expectations of stakeholders.
- Developing and managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project stays within budgetary constraints.
- Developing and managing project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring that the project stays on schedule.
- Managing project changes and ensuring that all changes are documented and approved by relevant stakeholders.
- Preparing regular progress reports and other project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, change logs, and status reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal project management methodology and change control procedures.
- Participate in inter-departmental coordination and communication for project success.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience
PMP Certification is preferred
Salary:
Salary dependent on Education and Experience, estimated range $130,000 - $150,000.
