Our client is looking for a well-qualified candidate for their 3rd Shift.
Must be willing to work a third shift as a regular schedule
- 4:30 pm – 1:00 am (Regular Schedule
- 6:30 pm – 3:00 am (4 times per month)
The Environmental Services Manager directs and manages the Environmental Services program, ensuring that the establishment maintains clean, disinfected, orderly, and attractive conditions. This role involves performing duties personally or directing tasks through department employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Two (2) years of experience as an Environmental Services Technician or Janitorial Supervisor
- One (1) year of experience in a supervisory role
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily duties, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Create schedules, review processes, and advise on service improvements for patients, visitors, and other departments.
- Assist in reviewing staffing levels to meet operational needs.
- Inspect, audit, and evaluate tasks performed by Environmental Services (EVS) employees.
- Ensure EVS employees effectively use the Bed Tracking System, collaborating closely with nursing staff to turnover rooms and complete requested tasks. Train, coach, and provide in-service education to staff as needed.
- Communicate equipment repair needs to the Engineering department.
- Occasionally participate in cleaning duties, including flood response and disinfecting patient rooms.
- Manage the ordering of supplies necessary for daily EVS operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
