Our client is looking for a high level Sr. Cloud Architect to join their team in Greenwood Village, CO.
The consultant will play a pivotal role as one of the key technical and strategic leaders shaping the future of multi-access edge (MEC) infrastructure and services, and will be responsible for research, architecture, and engineering activities. The role requires collaboration with product, engineering, and operation teams to create technical requirements for newly proposed edge products and services and deliver proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the proposed technologies and works with the teams to deploy these technologies. We are seeking an outcome driven and customer obsessed professional with a balance of deep technical skills and business expertise. The candidate must have deep understanding and working knowledge across various cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes). This role demands a keen awareness of MEC and cloud industry trends and best practices. Prior experience implementing cloud and edge solutions for programmatic advertising, GenAI, financial services, and content delivery/streaming would be an asset.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Research, identify use cases and develop architecture for MEC solutions across industries, including programmatic advertising GenAI, financial services, and content delivery/streaming.
- Provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of edge-based solutions, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Act as a subject matter expert on edge services, advising internal teams and partners on best practices and optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable edge-based solutions and architectural proposals
- Promote customer-centricity and ensure focus on creating great customer experiences to achieve competitive advantage
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Experience working with customers and partners to design future state cloud/edge architecture and solutions
- Experience architecting cloud to edge platform system requirements, use cases, system flows, hardware, platform and software architecture that meets performance, scalability, reliability, and security specifications of the customer
- Experience architecting and implementing public cloud platforms or edge services in two or more Cloud Service Provider networks (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Demonstrable knowledge of major cloud/edge industry trends and key players in the MEC ecosystem and value chain
- Familiarity with the use of cloud/edge services in programmatic advertising, GenAI, financial services, and content delivery/streaming
- Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills to effectively work with internal clients and external partners
- Strong writing skills to effectively write architecture requirements documents and design documents
- Represent business interests in a wide variety of settings and relationships including company management, business partners, and equipment vendors
- Ability to perform duties in a very fast pace environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
Education
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field or related work experience

- Engineering work experience – 10+
