Job Summary
Join our team as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control/Piping Lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in updating and maintaining our ASME Quality Manual, ensuring compliance with ASME Code across projects. You’ll work closely with Project Welding Engineers and manage certification efforts while providing essential training and audits.
Job Description/Requested Skills:
*Experience in conducting audits on piping systems with a focus on compliance and workmanship *Need to have good communication skills and the ability to utilize technical resources to support suggested actions.
*Past experience as a Project/Division Quality Manger would be welcomed.
*Experience installing piping systems from a foremen/superintendent level would be helpful and add to credibility.
- Provide support for the Project Welding Engineers, auditing the Projects on a regular basis to ensure that the Welding Procedure Specifications, Welder Performance Qualifications, Welder Continuity program, and other welding initiatives comply with the QMS, ASME Code, and Standard Quality Procedures.
- Manage the ASME and National Board certification efforts, including coordinating with Authorized Nuclear Inspectors and Supervisors for certification/recertification efforts.
- Expansion of the current ASME Certificates to include design and fabrication activities.
- Oversee ASME Code compliance for work which falls under the ASME Quality Control Manual, including reviewing newly issued ASME Code Cases that may affect Power Projects.
- Audit projects constructing ASME Code work, regularly, ensuring that all aspects of the TASME Quality Program are properly implemented.
- Ensure that all project Quality Records (including ASME paperwork) are completed and submitted properly, through regular audits and assessments.
Skills Required
- Self-starter with advanced organizational, managerial, and leadership skills.
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience doing Quality Assurance.
