Job Summary:
Basic Qualifications:
· Onsite only position, no remote
· Installing and configuring Windows 10 and 11 Operating Systems
· Applying basic and advanced troubleshooting skills
· Familiar with Windows 10 & 11OS / Microsoft (OSD) Operating Systems
· Familiar with Microsoft Office Suites
· Adequate troubleshooting and computer configuration skills in Microsoft Windows environment
· Support users in all fashions: walk-up, desk visit, virtual, or telephone / help desk styles of support.
· Familiar with Apple manager and products.
· Familiar with Google and Gmail applications related to Education
· Proficient with Google G-Suite

Responsibilities include:
· Provide Faculty, Staff, and Students support for hardware and software systems.
· This position works closely with teaching staff to provide timely repairs and support to maintain classroom
functionality.
· Apply basic IT specialist system hardware and software and operating procedures.
· Review and become familiar with all essential elements of IT contracts;
· Communicate information about system changes through bi-weekly meetings.
· Set up incoming computers, Chromebooks, and other It related equipment, configure network settings and join
to the network.
· Coordinate with external IT partner(s) to resolve technology issues, when necessary
· Maintain up to date inventory of school property.
· Responsible for the servicing / contracting (with outside vendor) of computers, monitors, printers, desktop
phones, etc. throughout the building
· Maintain up-to-date inventory of all faculty, staff, and student devices (computers, printers, monitors, and other
IT-related school property)
· Onboarding / offboarding of employees as it relates to issuing / retrieving school-issued computers, monitors,
printers, etc.
As a member of the technical support unit, you will provide end-user support including but not limited to:
· Document incidents in the helpdesk ticketing system and ensuring timely resolution of open tickets.
· Communicate clearly and proactively with technology users and staff to understand, identify, document, and
resolve problems.
· Repair computers – i.e. Chromebook, IPads, etc.
· Provide classroom/teacher support regarding technology (Smart Boards, SMART TV, video cameras, etc.)
· Install approved software releases, system upgrades, patches, and software related compatibility issues.
· Maintain a working knowledge of computer technology, network systems, and standard software and act as a
resource of technical information to the end user community.
· Help with setup of building functions that require IT support.
· Responsibilities may expand based on the needs of Gesu School
· Must be able to lift / move computers, battery backups, etc.
- Set-up Zoom workspace (includes mobile Smart panels, audio, etc.), as needed, for Gesu School board meetings.
- Set-up / liaison for audio visual for special events (i.e. Gesu School annual Symposium; Gesu School annual Gala
- On-site “Go To” person for all Gesu School IT / audio visual needs
Conditions of Employment
· If you are selected, a pre-employment background check (Criminal history, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI
Fingerprint) is required.

· You must be a U.S. citizen.
To qualify, you need to have at least two years of full-time experience assisting customers by identifying and/or resolving hardware and software issues OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
