Job Title: Lead Python Developer

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Python Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of complex software solutions using Python.
You will lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality code.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, with extensive experience in APIs, data processing pipeline, AWS cloud services with DevOps principles, tools, and practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of experience in software development with extensive Python Development experience in Advanced Python, experience with Python frameworks such as Django and Flask and experience in FAST API, Restful API Webservices.
Minimum 2+ years of experience leading a technical team.
Experience in data processing and analysis using Python libraries.
Should have experience in AWS cloud platform services (Lambda and Fargate, Serverless solutions, ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, etc.)
Should have experience of DevOps principles, tools, and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins.
Experience with a full suite of Go (GoLang) frameworks and tools is a plus.
Should have experience with Pandas and in a web framework like Flask or Django.
Should have experience in creating and maintaining RESTful services using Python.
Nice to have experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

Desired Qualifications:

Nice to have experience in Banking / Financial industry.

Location: Richmond - VA / McLean - VA (Hybrid Role; 3 days in a week needs to work from Office)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $85,000 – $145,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
