Job Summary:
The Infrastructure Engineer will manage and support the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and directory services. This role involves working with a range of technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Server, MS SQL Server, Oracle SQL, and Oracle Linux.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group management, GPOs, and domain services.
-Administer Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
-Support MS SQL Server and Oracle SQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
-Configure and manage Oracle Linux servers and related applications.
-Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
-Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, quality, manufacturing, and within IT, to ensure that our Engineering solutions effectively support our product development and lifecycle management needs.
-Apply technical and managerial skills to manage an area of responsibility, while managing the budget and cost-effectiveness.
-Establish and maintain positive global business relationships throughout the business community.
Qualifications and Education:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Certifications such as MCSA or MCSE are advantageous.
-Strong experience with Active Directory and Windows Server administration.
-Proficiency in MS SQL Server and Oracle SQL database management.
-Experience with Oracle Linux systems.
-Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Strong communication and collaboration skills.
