Our client, a multinational e-commerce corporation is looking to identify a Merchandising Manager III to join their team.
Job Overview:
Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Strategic Partnerships Lead for US Apparel to support our brand outreach and engagement efforts in collaboration with Business Development and our Resale as a Service (RaaS) partners. The successful candidate will be instrumental in organizing pitch materials, managing contracts, addressing brand concerns, and facilitating merchant integration. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize brand launches and ramp-up activities, ensuring a smooth and effective partnership process.
- Key Responsibilities:Support in brand outreach initiatives and follow-up communications in collaboration with RaaS partners and the Business Development team.
- Organize and refine brand-specific pitch deck materials to effectively communicate value propositions to potential partners.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including executing non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), Authorized Reseller Agreements, and Pricing Agreements.
- Address and resolve brand-specific, non-trade-related concerns, such as counterfeit issues, to advance partnership negotiations.
- Coordinate with brands and RaaS partners to ensure the successful assignment and execution of tasks recommended for optimal launch and ramp-up.
- Provide guidance on product assortment and contribute to the creation of brand-specific financial targets.
- Secure brand-specific marketing assets and advertising incentives to support product launches and ramp-up phases.
- Organize and deliver brand performance reporting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and facilitating post-launch analysis.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and key players in the RaaS industry, providing insights that can inform strategic decisions.
- Offer consistent and actionable feedback on existing processes, aiming to enhance efficiency and streamline partnership operations.
This background requirement specifies that the ideal candidate should have:
Background or Exposure to RaaS: Experience with or knowledge of Retail as a Service (RaaS) or similar models where retail services are offered to brands on a subscription or usage basis.
Multi Inventory Proposition Offering: Understanding of or experience with handling multiple inventory sources or offerings, which could be relevant in environments like multi-brand retail, e-commerce platforms, or marketplaces.
Existing Relationships: Established connections within the brand community, RaaS sector, or fashion re-commerce industry, which can be leveraged for partnership opportunities and collaborations.
Track Record of Onboarding Brands: A proven history of successfully integrating brands into marketplace platforms, indicating experience with the technical, operational, and relationship aspects of such processes.
Familiarity with Live Content as a Growth Tool: (This is considered a bonus) Some experience or knowledge of using live content, such as live streaming or live commerce, as a tool to drive incremental growth or sales.
