PCB Design Programmer:
6-Month Contract

Overview:
One of the largest Oil and Gas Services companies based out of Houston is looking for a strong PCB Design Programmer to join their Drilling Division. You would be joining a project revolved around transitioning legacy PCB designs to a new software.
Required Experience:
- Prior experience with performing PCB library management
- Experience with scripting (DOS Batch or WinBatch)
- Prefer experience minimally with both Gerber & ODB++ transfer protocols; preferable to have good understanding of current industry transfer standards
- Would like the individual to have some past experience assembling and testing PCBs to understand the impact of design decisions
- Prefer to have experience with design for harsh condition such as high vibration, high temperature and in space limited/size minimizing packages
- Would prefer to have PADS (Siemens PCB design software) experience since this is the tool we primarily work in
- Nice to have: experience checking PCB layout designs/drawings
- Nice to have: experience leading PCB design teams (someone who can be a strong contributor or a possible successor to team leader)
- Nice to have: experience modernizing team processes and standards to fit latest industry best practices
