Title: PCB Designer
Worksite: Framingham, MA
Hours/onsite: Tuesday – Thursday onsite is a MUST start around 8am
LOA: start as soon as onboarded
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future and W2 contract employees
Overview: Seeking a Mid to Sr level PCB Designer to be part of a dynamic team. As a Designer you'll be responsible for all phases of creation and management of the printed circuit design front-to-back process. Including being responsible for leading or assisting on projects containing multiple PC Boards. Using the latest in Cadence software suite of tools, and MCAD models and transfers. You must have the ability to communicate and cooperate with multiple engineering groups, Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing. You will be an integral part of a team of PC board designers working in the Production Engineering Division and serving all business units at client. Good communication skills to work with both internal and external engineering teams.
Skills in the following are required:
· Cadence Allegro PCB Editor V17.4 or newer
· Cadence Concept and HDL Schematic Capture
· Experience with Cadence Constraint Manager
· Allegro System Capture V17.4 or newer
· PDM tools for release of designs
· Ability to work well with a diverse group of dedicated professionals
Skills in the following a PLUS but not required:
· Experience with Cadence SigXP, Power Integrity or 3D modeling
· Siemens Nx V11 or newer MCAD
· Programming experience in scripting, Allegro Skill, AWK, Perl or other programming languages
· Understanding of industry and IPC standards for PCB Design & Library structure
· EDA/EDM – Allegro PCB Librarian & Manager V17.4 or newer
· Understanding of Cadence and EDA License servers
· Altium Designer System Engineering
· PTC Windchill
· Knowledge of PCB documentation standards (e.g. IPC-D-325A)
· Experience in medical device development
Qualification:
Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical-Mechanical Engineering Technology or 5 to 10 Years Industry Experience as a PC Board Designer.
