Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week)

Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Python Developer to join our Corporate Engineering team.
- The ideal candidate will provide application software development services or technical support in situations of moderate complexity. This role involves requirements gathering, BRD/SRD preparation, and thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- The Lead Developer will conduct reviews of the test plan and test data, write new programs, design and code programs, and create test transactions. The candidate will interface with architects to design, code, test, and implement application programs, and propose innovative, creative technology solutions.
Required Software/Technology:
- Python
- Spark
- CI/CD DevOps
- PySpark
- Microservice Architecture
- Preferred Software/Technology:
- Experience with Hadoop, Kafka, and Impala.
- Experience with big data development and homegrown systems running in an open-source environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of the software development cycle.
