We have an opportunity to joining a leading architecture, engineering, and construction firm within the Mission Critical space to support them with projects across Oregon, Nevada, and Mississippi. They have a healthy pipeline of projects with the next 5 years of work guaranteed on large hyperscale and colocation facilities.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Regular site visits to ensure performance is in line with safety, financial risk, schedule, and quality parameters.
- Responsible for managing either one or a portfolio of projects valued at over $200M.
- Mitigating risks and ensuring the project is completed in line with project schedule and financial forecasting.
- Build and manage relationships between clients, vendors, staff, and any subcontractors.
- Provide mentoring and training for PMs and SPMs, and promote collaboration and the company values within the team.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 10+ years experience in project management, ideally at a general contractor
- Several years experience with mission critical/data center projects
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing potential cost savings, as well as increasing overall profitability of multiple projects
- Experience in contracting methods include GMP, lump sum, cost + construction, and fee based.
- Involvement in building and maintaining client relationships, as well as supporting in business development efforts.
- Ability to relocate, or travel to one of the projects sites listed above as required.
