Role Description
Alliance Land Resources is hiring experienced title Landmen to work as independent contractors alongside Alliance's management team on a project basis.
Responsibilities
- Research county records to determine surface, mineral and/or leasehold ownership by utilizing online databases and/or visiting the office of the county clerk or recorder.
- Perform in-house due diligence, through digital records, to ensure accuracy and completeness of land rights or to identify and bring forward title deficiencies requiring curative action.
- Prepare runsheets and title reports, with efficiency and professionalism, using client-approved templates or softwares.
- Conduct other research generally necessary to provide a complete and accurate title report within the scope of the given project.
- Communicate effectively any issues or needs that arise.
- Meet deadlines and billing expectations.
Qualifications
- Must have high standards for work you complete, a willingness to think critically and ability to problem solve.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with oil and gas land work or a PLM degree
- Title experience in Colorado, Texas and/or New Mexico
- Access to and ability to use basic computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Pro at an intermediate level
- Ability to adapt to and implement use of client softwares
- Attentive to detail and quality
- Receptive to feedback and led by integrity
- Active AAPL membership
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Work Authorization: Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States.
