Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of project management for multiple low to medium-complexity traditional AI, generative AI, and automation products over the entire product development and deployment lifecycle. Supports the understanding of business objectives and scope to help deliver the expected results of these AI products. Works closely with accountable Delivery Leaders in Business and Technology to help plan and control project execution, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and technical risks are monitored. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to assist in day-to-day project tasks. Provides support on project management best practices and requires solid knowledge of technology processes and implementation procedures related to artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Assist artificial intelligence managers and directors in coordinating and orchestrating multiple low to medium-complexity traditional AI, generative AI, and process automation products in support of department or enterprise strategic plans.
- Help define project plans/roadmaps for two to three simultaneous AI products or for a single complex AI product or program, including scope, budget, and schedule.
- Collaborate with partner teams across portfolios to understand dependencies, track the execution of work, and visualize the scope of work for AI products.
- Support development and application teams in breaking down work into smaller components or features and identifying critical paths.
- Assist delivery teams in executing tasks defined in the project plan to achieve project goals using standard project management methodologies and practices.
- Help monitor risks, issues, and scope, ensuring they are appropriately prioritized and escalated.
- Assist in testing and acceptance of AI product results across multiple teams.
- Communicate plans and relevant components such as risks, schedules, expectations, and updates to stakeholders, sponsors, and project teams to maintain project alignment.
- Support and learn from more experienced AI Portfolio Managers.
- Help build partnerships to collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively with all AI product, partner, and support teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience in managing projects, in AI or technology consulting.
- Basic understanding of AI technologies and their application in solving business problems.
- Ability to assist in data analysis, conduct basic market research, and support the development of business strategies.
- Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model building, and deployment.
- Ability to assist in translating objectives into well-defined plans, priorities, and assignments for the team.
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of AI applications.
- Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools to interpret data and explain insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices and ceremonies.
- Understanding of how applications impact operational and business functions.
- Proficient in financial acumen to interpret corporate financial analysis and financial statements.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships across various levels of the company, including employees, customers, and leadership, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, unexpected constraints, or challenges, and assist in developing ideas, processes, and approaches to meet those challenges.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- Required: Experience in project management, with foundational knowledge and skills.
- Required: Experience in the preparation of presentations for Executive Leadership.
- Required: Familiarity with JiraAlign, Jira, and SAFe.
- Required: Basic understanding of the Technology Initiative Review (TIR) process and PMO process.
- Required: Experience supporting the delivery of Epics and Features in coordination with Architecture, Project Management, Delivery, and Quality Management partners.

- Ability to perform work duties from a limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job.
