We're looking for a highly skilled, LENEL CERTIFIED full-time professional Electronic Security Systems Technician to support equipment installation and preventative and corrective maintenance of existing Access Control Systems and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance systems and integration in controlled areas such as federal courthouses and office spaces (probation offices, public defender spaces, etc.) and/or military bases. The candidate must have a Lenel Certification.
This position requires a presence at the Tracy, CA job site.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic components.
- Follow electrical schematics and technical manuals to perform repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of electronic systems.
- Test and calibrate electronic equipment to ensure accuracy and performance.
- Provide technical support to customers and address their inquiries or concerns.
Minimum Education / Experience / Certification Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Lenel Certification
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Possess and maintain a valid U.S. Driver's License
- 2+ years of demonstrated electronic security systems (ESS) experience
- Proficient in reading and capable of communicating effectively in English
- Compliance with DoD 8140 Certification requirements
Nice-to-Have Skillset
- NEC (National Electrical Code) knowledge
- Experience as a service technician for IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) or alarm system
- Knowledge of cabling techniques for data transmission or security systems installation
- Basic locksmithing skills for access control system installation
- Familiarity with system design principles for electronic equipment
Clearance Requirements
Must have an active or be able to obtain a Public Trust and/or Secret clearance, and clear a federal level II criminal background check, motor vehicle screen, and drug test.
