Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled and locally based Assistant HVAC Project Manager to join our San Francisco, CA team. The ideal candidate will possess a stable work history and bring at least five years of experience in mechanical project management, specifically within the HVAC and sheet metal sectors. This role requires a strong background in overseeing large-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and overseeing large HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, to maintain clear communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the Project Manager in tracking project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and meeting financial objectives.
- Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures to guarantee that all installations meet the required standards and client expectations.
- Identify potential risks and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies, ensuring the project stays on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications
- Must be a Bay Area resident with a proven track record of stable employment in the mechanical construction industry.
- Minimum of two years in mechanical project management, focusing on HVAC and sheet metal projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong familiarity with HVAC systems, sheet metal work, and project management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
