William Charles Search Group has been engaged to assist our client with a search for a Manufacturing Engineer for their Vanceburg, KY facility. Our client leads globally in the manufacturing of innovative fiberglass products.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Plant Manager the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for offering broad, tactical technical support to the plant and production.

- Works with manufacturing and technical personnel to optimize processes to ensure quality, manufacturability, productivity, and efficiencies.
- Provides clear and concise documented standard operating procedures on key processes.
- Work with facilities personnel and equipment suppliers to develop appropriate preventative maintenance programs for new and existing equipment.
- Observes processes and develops innovative solutions to solve problems.
- Assists in the development and analysis of key metrics to measure performance, utilizes this data to develop actions.
- Identifies opportunities for improvements and makes recommendations to the operations leadership team and upper management.
- Makes formal recommendations with ROI on equipment changes and upgrades.
- Leads process to identify root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Assist other team members in meeting plant and company objectives.
- Create and maintain a work environment that is safe, ethical, goal oriented and team based.
Requirements:
- BS degree in Engineering (Electro-Mechanical preferred) with 8 to 10 years related experience
- Safety first mindset
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem solving
- Ability to apply statistical tools and engineer principles to analyze data and provide conclusions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
