Position: Jr. Systems Administrator
Reporting To: Director of Network Services
Position Overview:
As a Jr. Systems Administrator at LT Apparel Group, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining our systems infrastructure. You will be the first line of IT support, providing prompt and accurate assistance to users across the organization. This role involves a variety of tasks, from troubleshooting technical issues to managing IT assets, ensuring that our systems run smoothly and efficiently. The Jr. Systems Administrator will work closely with the Director of Network Services to ensure that all IT operations meet the company’s high standards of service and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help-Desk Support: Provide application and help-desk support for a wide range of software packages and business systems, ensuring that user issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Executive Support: Deliver high-level IT support to LTAG’s senior leadership team, addressing their specific technical needs and ensuring minimal disruption to their workflows.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve various technical problems, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
- System Updates: Deploy software updates, upgrades, and hotfixes, including imaging new devices as required, to maintain the integrity of IT systems.
- Mobile Device Management: Manage mobile devices, including installation, asset management, troubleshooting, and repair services, ensuring that all mobile technology functions seamlessly.
- User Training: Instruct and train users on the proper use of PC hardware and software, enhancing their ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Active Directory Support: Manage Microsoft Active Directory tasks, including password resets, group memberships, and account deactivations, ensuring that user access is appropriately managed.
- Onboarding/Offboarding: Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors, ensuring that all software and hardware requirements are met promptly.
- AV Support: Assist with the setup and support of conference rooms to deliver Audio Visual services for meetings and presentations.
- Asset Management: Maintain the accuracy of the IT asset inventory system, ensuring that all IT equipment is properly tracked and managed.
- Documentation: Document processes and procedures, including Statements of Procedures, to maintain clear and accessible records of IT operations.
- System Monitoring: Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, servers, and systems to prevent downtime and data loss.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate data security on the network, implementing measures to reduce risks and investigating any breaches to protect corporate resources.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve technology-related issues and ensure that external services align with LTAG’s IT standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to research and evaluation of new technologies, processes, and infrastructure enhancements, making recommendations for improvements that align with LTAG’s strategic goals.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required by the IT administration to support the overall goals of the department.
Education and Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in an IT Helpdesk environment providing end-user support.
- A+ Certified, Networking +, Security +, or equivalent certification is a plus.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the company.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with MAC OS is desired.
