Job Title: Information Technology Associate
Position Summary:
Magna Legal Services is seeking a dedicated Information Technology Associate to join our team in the Philadelphia office full-time. This role is central to maintaining the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure within a dynamic legal services environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional day-to-day technical support to our employees, setting up new machines, managing hardware inventory, and addressing a broad range of technical issues. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to play a vital role in the company's success by ensuring that our technological resources meet the specific needs of the legal profession, all within the bustling and vibrant setting of Philadelphia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to employees for all IT-related needs, including troubleshooting issues and guiding users through problem resolution.
- Setup, configure, and install new hardware and software for employees, ensuring all machines are ready for use according to company standards.
- Conduct regular inventory audits of hardware and software resources to manage assets effectively and plan for future needs.
- Assist in maintaining IT documentation, including setup procedures, support guides, and inventory records.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor IT systems and respond to security or usability concerns.
- Assist in managing user accounts and access controls to ensure security and compliance with company policies.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on how to use IT resources effectively and safely.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and IT best practices to recommend improvements to the company's IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years proven experience in a technical support role or similar.
- Microsoft 365 expertise
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Familiarity with the latest technology and trends.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a non-technical audience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Base salary: USD $75,000 – $90,000 yearly
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
