A large electronic company in Alpharetta, GA is looking to hire Embedded C Engineers to support their team in developing firmware and hardware in various electricity meter devices including radio and battery powered devices.
Duration: 8 months+ with possible conversion to perm
Location: Alpharetta, GA (ONSITE 4+ times a week)
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-10 years' experience programming with C, C++
- Firmware development for an embedded system
- RTOS
- Development Tools: IAR, Oscilloscope, Logic analyzer
- Repository Management Tool: Git/Gerrit/Jenkin
- Exposure to Product Life Cycle and Software Development methodologies
- Familiarity with Wireless communication and Networking protocols
- Experience with RF networks, security encryption and packet-based networks are desirable.
- Experience with protocol stacks such as 802.15.4e, 6LowPAN, SNMPv2/3, DHCPv6, FTP is desirable.
- Bachelor's Or Master's in CS/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
Compensation:
$52/hr to $62/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
