Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Lead with over 10 years of expertise in the oil and gas, material management, or utilities industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in structural and mechanical calculations and have significant experience working with boilers or steam generation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee mechanical engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Perform detailed structural and mechanical calculations to support project designs and ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise in the design, operation, and maintenance of boilers and steam generation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering professional growth and development within the team.
- Stay current with advancements in mechanical engineering technology and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas, material management, or utilities industry.
- Proven expertise in structural and mechanical calculations.
