Responsibilities:
The Engineering Lab Technician is responsible for quality assurance for components and materials through testing campaigns:
- Ensure team adheres to industry standards AND OSHA safety regulations
- Handle security documents to ensure that data is authenticated and organized
- Order lab supplies to support test development as needed
- Implement actions that support department’s key performance metrics
- Support IATF 16949 and ISO 17025 procedure development and implementation
- Physical set up of servo-hydraulic lab equipment and test systems
- Execute test procedures and troubleshoot as needed
- Operate MTS Flex Test software
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Associate Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in automotive testing
- OSHA 10 Certification
- CAD software experience preferred
