Duration: 12 Months Contract to hire
Pay Range: $65/hr-$75/hr on W2 (DOE)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Modern Workplace Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Windows Autopilot, Azure services, End User Computing, and Desktop Engineering. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining end-user computing solutions that ensure seamless and efficient experiences for our organization's workforce. Your expertise will be critical in driving innovation, optimizing processes, and maintaining a high standard of technology service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Windows Autopilot solutions to streamline the provisioning and onboarding of end-user devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement Azure-based solutions, ensuring integration with existing systems and services.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex technical issues related to end-user computing, including hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Desktop Engineering standards, guidelines, and best practices, ensuring consistency and security across the organization's device landscape.
- Drive the evaluation, selection, and adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance end-user computing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Participate in project planning, scope definition, resource allocation, and project execution to ensure successful delivery of end-user computing initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the End User Computing field, and assess their potential impact on the organization's technology landscape.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, including design documents, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Qualifications/years of experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in End User Computing, Desktop Engineering, and related technologies.
Technology Requirements: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Azure certifications) are a strong plus.
- In-depth expertise with Windows Autopilot, Azure services (Azure AD, Intune, etc.), and deploying and managing modern workplace solutions.
- In-dept expertise in Apple Mac management preferably with JAMF, Moysle, or Intune.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and supporting end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and associated peripherals. Including MDM and MAM policies in Intune.
Soft Skills Needed:
- Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures within end-user computing environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects, collaborate across teams, and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
