Our firm participates in exciting projects that support the fisheries of the Pacific Rim to include Alaska, Washingon, Oregon, California, and Hawaii as we build data management and reporting systems that support the fisheries management process.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Programming Analyst at neXus Data Solutions, LLC office in Anchorage, Alaska. The Programming Analyst will be responsible for tasks such as data analysis, software development, and database management. Some remote work is acceptable as part of this role.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills and Software Development skills
- Database and SQL proficiency
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Experience with statistical analysis programs (i.e. R or MatLab) a bonus
- Relevant certifications in programming or database management is a plus
