Must Haves:
- 0-2 years of prior relevant experience: working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering
- OR could have: strong construction background, design work, civil engineering, electrical experience and programming experience
- Must be comfortable in both a field and office setting (mainly field)
- Interest in developing construction work packages for the electric distribution system using various software systems and construction standards
- Candidate must provide their own reliable transportation (local customers/sites – will be reimbursed for mileage)
- This role will involve 80% travel around the surrounding cities/fielding for customer requirements, meeting with construction/project managers and driving timelines on projects
Day to Day:
A company is looking for an Engineering Technician to join their team.
- Responsible for providing support to engineers on technical projects and/or products
- Assist in scheduling and developing construction plans for the project work
- Assist in work packages, construction plans, bill material and will be in charge of the scope of work schedule.
- Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data.
- Travel to job site to collect necessary documentation and supplementary data (notes, photos, measurements, etc.)
Compensation:
$17/hr to $23/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
