Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Broomall, PA
Industry: MEP
Summary: This person is responsible for the design of the building (either hotel or casino) from soup to nuts on the electrical side, they will work together with a team of 4-6 Vps, engineers, designers, and drafters to get the job done right. They will be designing in Revit or CAD all Power/Distribution systems, calculating the MEP building load via a formula they use for all their buildings, Developing single-line diagrams, developing the power and distribution systems for all equipment, setting distribution points, sizing rooms, making sure all equipment will fit, then do all the power and distribution.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience
- Comfortable interacting with clients and traveling as needed
- Revit is preferred but AutoCad experience works
- Must be familiar with:
- Lighting
- Power distribution - Switchgears, Distribution
- Boards, Transformers, and Generators
- Grounding
- Emergency systems
- UPS Systems - uninterruptible power supply system
- Dimming systems
- Fire Alarm
- Incoming service design
- High Rise/Commercial experience
