Description
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain server hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance
- Install, configure, and upgrade server software, hardware, and operating systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, networks, and applications
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Manage and maintain server security, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls
- Monitor system performance and capacity planning, proactively identifying and addressing issues before they cause problems
- Manage and maintain database systems, ensuring their stability and security
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure server and network systems integrate effectively with other enterprise applications and systems
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for server and network administration, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulations
- Document and maintain all server and network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures

Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a System administrator or systems engineer preferred
- Extensive knowledge of server hardware, software, and network systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience with Active Directory
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with Office 356 Admin
- Proficiency in Windows, Apple and Linux operating systems.
