The ideal candidate will have experience leading a Maintenance team and a direct approach to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Maintenance Operations: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all maintenance activities, ensuring that equipment and machinery are in optimal working condition.
- Develop Preventive Maintenance Plans: Design and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime and extend the life of equipment.
- Manage Maintenance Team: Lead, train, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, setting performance standards, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Provide technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to reduce equipment downtime.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an organized and efficient inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring availability when needed and controlling costs.
- Compliance and Safety Standards: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, and adhere to workplace safety standards.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track maintenance performance metrics, analyze trends, and prepare detailed reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance processes.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects, working closely with other departments to enhance overall production efficiency and equipment reliability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Maintenance leadership experience
- 10+ years of Maintenance experience
