We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our expanding Albuquerque office. As a Senior Civil Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in civil design projects throughout New Mexico and the Southwest. This position requires a proactive, client-focused individual with strong marketing skills and a commitment to high-quality work. You will oversee various project phases, from conceptual design to completion while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to conceptual design and project planning.
- Prepare fee proposals and project setup documentation.
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in their professional growth.
- Manage and follow up on account receivables.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
- Strong written, technical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to client satisfaction and teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality results.
- Experience in marketing and business development.
- PE license in New Mexico or the ability to obtain one within three months.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D for civil construction documents.
- Extensive experience with municipal and commercial site development projects.
