Energy Storage Project Engineer:
Responsibilities:
Lead due diligence and permitting process for a pipeline of Energy Storage projects.
Coordinate the work of consulting engineers and vendors, towards the design, development and deployment of a large network of distributed energy and utility sales energy storage projects.
Lead and keep track and manage the utility interconnection process and develop relationships with CPMs and Engineering to ensure timely responses and approvals are obtained.
Work with multidisciplinary project team members, assisting with energy storage business development efforts across a variety of market opportunities. Verify utility specifications and approvals of the ESS equipment and manage procurement contracts.

Requirements:
• Electrical Engineering degree preferred (other engineering and energy-related education will be considered) and minimum 4 years working experience required
• Experience with renewable energy systems, telecommunications power systems and/or electricity transmission and distribution networks and interconnections will gain extra consideration
• Deep knowledge of Excel
• SCADA and EMS experience is a plus
• Experience working with utilities and managing interconnection applications
Position location:
Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to metro NYC.
The work may involve out-of-town assignments with up to 25% estimated travel.
