Insight Global is seeking out an experienced Director of Video Quality Analytics to join a global streaming platform and provide strategic leadership in ensuring optimal video playback experiences for our customers. As the Director, you will be responsible for leading and empowering a team, driving the monitoring of key video playback Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), defining the overall strategy for data collection, translating complex data into actionable insights & executive summaries, and collaborating with other cross-functional teams. This Director role will rely on analyst type responsibilities, overlooking the performance of any visual content, optimizing them to gain more audience. On a day to day, as a leader this person will be working with different engineers and guiding them while streamlining, improving, an optimizing different tools, but also working very closely with different VPs and presenting analytical data. This expertise will play a pivotal role in fostering continuous improvement and delivering exceptional streaming performance to the global audience.
Must Haves
- 4-5+ years of experience in a leadership role overseeing video playback monitoring and analysis.
- Experience working in a high traffic streaming service, preferably within the entertainment industry.
- Background in software engineering, specifically within video playback.
- Must have knowledge of video playback metrics/acronyms.

- Ability to analyze performance data and translate/present it to stakeholders, into easily understandable executive summaries.
- Understanding of content delivery networks (CDNs), and associated KPIs.
- Experience developing and executing data collection strategies

- Excellent communication/leadership skills
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
