The Analysis and Test group is comprised of several analysts, subject matter experts, test engineers, and test technicians that support the various test areas on the Burnsville campus. Some of these labs include an environmental test lab, an EMI/EMC lab, and wind tunnel testing labs. These labs support research and development and the qualification of all parts manufactured within the value streams in Burnsville. Primary Responsibilities:
• Works with managers, engineers, and technicians to identify and resolve gaps between the current software capabilities and the requirements of standards as well as clients.
• Independently completes software projects.
• Independently maintains and upgrades existing software.
• Works with internal clients to customize software to meet their testing requirements.
• Handles multiple projects at once and prioritizes independently.
• Trains others in the usage of software programs. Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations OR
• Advanced degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and client focus.
• 3 years of experience in LabVIEW.
• Experience in hardware/software integration and troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or similar.
• Experience in VB and/or VBA.
• Experience working in the aerospace and/or defense industry.
• Experience working in a lab environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
