POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to help drive the evolution of our customer and patient wellness platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and integrations and supporting all aspects of our QA Team processes with the goal of improving the overall user experience. This position is ideally suited for a mission-driven person who is resourceful and flexible, comfortable with fact finding in the face of ambiguity, organized, detail oriented and an expert communicator both verbally and in writing.

OBJECTIVES
Lead the planning, design, and execution of test strategies at all levels in the software development lifecycle including acceptance testing, integration testing, end to end testing, regression testing, and performance/load testing
Lead test plan creation, test plan execution, and ongoing test maintenance for all project based testing.
Build and maintain regression test suites with requirements traceability for products currently in general use and for new products as they are developed
Collaborate with product team, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure full test coverage
Track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status
Document bugs in clear and concise manner and track bugs to resolution
Support efforts in root cause analysis for bugs and customer support issues
Conduct effective resource planning for test deliverables and maintain test environments and test environment data
Support User Acceptance testing cycles by providing training, documentation and planning support to stakeholders
Conduct Verification and Validation of products developed by contracted development teams
Strive towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert(SME) for all products and offer guidance from both a QA and SME perspective in early stages of product ideation and discovery
Participate in mentoring and training new team members
Produce high quality documentation to support the QA team and broader technology team including but not limited to: SOPs, release notes, process documentation, executive summaries
Be an engaged participant in team ceremonies and collaborative meetings (e.,g. daily standups, discovery calls, grooming)
COMPETENCIES
Experience testing integrated applications
API testing experience
Strong backend testing experience
Mobile optimization testing experience
Strong ad-hoc testing experience
Experience with Azure DevOps
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira Service Management, Confluence)
Strong documentation skills
Strong communication skills
Experience with V&V for contracted development
Test automation experience
Salesforce QA experience is desirable
Experience in a fast paced startup environment or similar preferred
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Focused QA experience in healthcare technology preferred
Certifications in relevant areas, such as ISTQB, CSTE, or other QA certifications, are desirable.
Certified Scrum Master or other Agile certifications are desirable but not required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of time working on a a computer
