JOB DESCRITPION
The Quality Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the Quality
Department in order to achieve Company goals, always under a regulatory framework
and norms applicable to the manufacturing plant. The Quality Manager acts as the
Quality Representative.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the processes required for the quality management system are established, implemented, and maintained.
- Report to the performance management of the quality management system and any need for improvement.
- Ensure the promotion and understanding of regulatory and customer requirements throughout the organization.
- Evaluate the quality management system and keep it up to date.
- Coordinate with customers on any matter related to compliance with product requirements.
- Achieve quality operational objectives by contributing information and analysis of strategic plans and revisions; preparing and completing action plans; identifying and solving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements and implementing changes.
- Maintain product quality by completing system audits, investigating customer

- Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with
- suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage, plan, direct, and control the resources of the regional quality assurance organization to optimize the effective utilization of those resources within budgetary requirements, costs, and quality standards.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
- High School Education (desired).
- Bi-lingual- English/Spanish languages (desired).
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft OfficeSuite, proficient in Excel skills.
- Self-starter and able to work independently.
- Metrology capabilities and understanding (desired)
- Be able to perform under high-stress environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of current quality topics, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
