Senior Network Security Engineer- Remote in Charlotte, NC/Baltimore, MD
Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader, is seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer for a client in the financial services industry. This person will help with Palo Alto design architecture across multiple branches and locations. In addition, the engineer will work alongside another senior engineer to help fall under PCI compliance. They will be working in a public cloud (AWS/Azure) environment.
Responsibilities:
- Architecting out Palo Alto design and implementation
- Palo Alto/Panorama implementation, deployment, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.
- Doing firewall configurations, building VPN/IPSEC tunnels
- Building out networking infrastructure in multiple public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience helping to implement/fall under PCI compliance
- Utilizing Firemon for firewall policy administration and monitoring
