The Systems Engineer will be dedicated to managing the Firm’s IT systems, services, and operations. This role will involve analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
Most Important Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the IT systems infrastructure.
- Manage the Firm’s virtual and physical servers, including Active Directory, operating systems, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop infrastructure.
- Lead IT service delivery across infrastructure and endpoint systems, focusing on service design, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and uphold operational technology strategies, policies, and standards.
- Establish and execute backup and disaster recovery plans and procedures, conducting regular reviews and real-world testing.
- Collaborate with Principal Enterprise Architect and stakeholders to enhance and streamline processes.
- Research and assess new technologies to recommend and implement solutions that optimize operational efficiency.
- Provide 24x7 on-call and problem resolution for IT services on a rotating basis.
What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization:
- 6+ years of relevant IT experience, with a strong emphasis on supporting critical IT infrastructure within a professional services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Microsoft, Citrix, and NetScaler experience
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in technologies including: Active Directory (Group Policy, DNS, DHCP), Windows and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Configuration Manager/SCCM/MECM, Citrix, NetScaler, VMWare, PowerShell, Nutanix, Cohesity, HPE and APC Hardware, Microsoft 365, Azure, MSSQL, Ansible
- Experience in virtualization, converged and hyperconverged technologies, and networking.
- Experience with provisioning, configuration, and deployment automation.
- Strong expertise in network management platforms and monitoring systems.
