Akkodis is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer and It's 100% onsite role in Wilmington, DE. This person must have strong experience in Cisco Firewalls Switches & Routers (Nexus is a MUST)..
Pay Range: $100k - $110k; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Virtualization experience (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Cisco umbrella, amp firepower (cyber stuff)
- VPN technology, AnyConnect, duo
- This is a hands-on position with the primary role of configurations, implementation, and support of Cisco products. They will have the opportunity to work with other technologies such as storage, backups, virtualization.
- Responsible for the overall health of MIS systems including servers, network equipment, operating systems, storage, data integrity, virtual infrastructure, and security.
- They will have the opportunity to work with other technologies such as storage, backups, virtualization.
- Minimum seven (7) years in MIS and Computer Industry.
- Experience managing Microsoft Windows Systems, UNIX, Linux, and midrange operating environments.
- Strong experience with WAN and LAN equipment and software
- Experience with storage systems (local and cloud)
- Strong experience with Virtual Environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of business including weekends and holidays.
