As Aeris continues to expand, we are growing our Network Architecture and Engineering team and that's where you come in! As a Test System & Automation Architect, you will provide expert technical leadership on Networks test tools, script and automation, to validate End-to-End network features and products before and after deployment. The Test System & Automation Architect designs, sets up and maintains the test automation frameworks and systems, studies network features solution designs, and produces methods, tools and scripts to automate test cases for quality assurance before deployment, and non-regression after deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Work on complex projects including teams from multiple areas e.g. Cellular core, IP, Cloud, software application, etc.
- Lead projects from start to end including design, coding/scripting and documentation
- Design and maintain test frameworks and systems on which test scripts can be executed
- Research and introduce test tools to enhance quality assurance service
- Design, implement and support simulated network test environment
- Study and understand System Architecture and Solution Design documents for network features, and produce test software/scripts which automate quality assurance for them
- Support network QA engineers with using test tools/scripts for test execution and regression testing
- Perform maintenance and documentation of the test frameworks and automation systems
- Develop automation tools for various network operation tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with 7+ years of professional experience
- Deep understanding of Cellular Core Network (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) GSM, GPRS/UMTS/HSPA, LTE and 5G Circuit-switched and Packet-switched Core Network architecture and call flows
- Deep knowledge of Cellular systems (HLR/HSS, MSC/MME, GGSN/PGW, PCRF, AAA, etc.) and features (data, SMS, voice, location services, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of IP network protocols and systems (IP, TCP, UDP, VPN, LAN, VLAN, MPLS, NAT/PAT, etc.)
- Expert with extensive hands-on experience with setting up test automation frameworks and systems
- Expert with extensive hands-on experience in test automation and coding/scripting
- Demonstrated technical and analytical skills
- Demonstrated technical leadership in leading the test automation systems
- Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills with engineers in other functional areas using the test automation systems
- Experience with system planning, engineering and design in a highly-available & complex environment
- Experience supporting commercial, 24x7, customer-facing and revenue generating systems
