Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for seeing projects through from estimation to completion and billing alongside our team of Superintendents and the Construction Manager. The Project Manager will be expected to build estimates in Bid to Win (software), create job books, facilitate hands off meetings, develop schedules, and track documentation. Project managers will communicate with the superintendent and customer before and during the project to maintain customer satisfaction and track progress. They will run job cost reports and communicate with the superintendent to ensure job progress is understood in the field.
Requirements, Education and Experience:
1. 5+ years of relevant construction experience
2. 4-year degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, preferred
3. Strong understanding of milling, reclamation, paving, and chip seal operations
4. Strong knowledge of mathematics, estimating, bidding
5. Production and processing knowledge of raw materials, processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
6. Proficient verbal and written English
7. Track record of strong organizational skills
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
10. Legal right to work in the U.S.
