We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Leader to join our team. The Quality Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all our services and products. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in processes, procedures, and systems to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee and manage quality assurance activities including audits, inspections, and testing of products and services.
- Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure their needs are met.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality assurance activities. Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and performance.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including environmental and safety requirements.
- Training: Develop and conduct quality training programs for employees to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Audits: Conduct regular audits and assessments of processes, products, and services to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Key Performance Indicators: Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the energy or technology sectors.
- Certifications: Quality-related certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with battery technology and the energy sector is a plus.
Travel & Location:
- The position is based at Renewance HQ (321 W. Lake St Elmhurst, IL 60126).
- Occasional travel to customer project sites and Renewance facilities is expected.
